Aunt Peggy
My favorite memory of Uncle Carl is from the apartment on Sea Avenue , when he took the coconut outside to crack it open for the coconut cake. He will be missed.

Some of my favorite memories of Uncle Carl include feeding the koi fish, cracking jokes or watching the races together. One memory that stands out is when we would feed the koi fish and he’d tell me not to stand too close or they’d eat me. He was always making jokes but, he was always looking out for others especially us kids. He was a great person and that is how he will be remembered.

Uncle Carl was a very good guy and was always so fun to be around. I will always remember going over to the house and watching the horse races with him.

Carl was a good guy - loyal to his family and friends. I spent many weekends at your house, and I can still see Carl wrapped up in an afghan watching TV. My favorite is the summer Carl came in from the yard on Beaver Dam with black stuff all over his feet. You immediately put him on the counter and washed his feet in the kitchen sink. It was hilarious. I have many happy memories of my visits with you. Carl had a good life, and I'm sure he is grateful for everything you did.

When I think of Carl there is one word that comes to mind "genuine". A quiet man and sincere soul. Family gatherings will not be the same without him. R.I.P.

To my cousin Carl,
We've had some great times together. How 'bout that corned beef and cabbage? What about those doo wop concerts?
I guess we won't be talkin' politics for a while. It's really amazing on how short life is. We're only a breath away from eternity.
It was too soon for you. You will be greatly missed! You are at peace now.
Your loving cousin Anthony

Uncle Carl,
You let me torture you with all of my karaoke performances. The unfortunate thing being that all of those performances consisted of the same two songs. Yet you always listened and clapped for me at the end. You sat there while I told you about every single Beanie Baby and read you it's poem and backstory. In the summers, you'd watch me swim and patiently listened to me explain all of my pretend games in the pool. You always took an interest in my life and asked about my friends.
I love you.
Until we meet again. I'll be waiting with a Rigatoni Campagnolo. Just the way you like it. Xoxo

Bill and I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with you and Carl - days at the track, travel, dinners out, concerts, so many good times. We will really miss talking yankees and horses with Carl. We love you both! Deepest condolences, Bill and Sharon

The best thing about having a cousin is that you get to make terrific memories with them on special occasions, like holidays and vacations but, unlike siblings, you don’t have to squabble or share toys with them. We have a lifetime of wonderful memories of time spent with Carl (or Junior as we lovingly called him). With his passing now, sadly, we lose a little bit of our childhood. We are so sorry that we can’t be with you today, Peggy, to share your sorrow, but the fond memories we all share will keep Carl with us always. All our love, Anna Marie and George.
