


Obituary of Frank J. Carroll
Frank J. Carroll, 89, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
Born in Bayonne to the late Frank and Mary Carroll, he lived there and for many years in Woodbridge before moving to Point Pleasant in 1996.
Frank was retired from Lockheed Martin, Plainfield, where he worked as an electrical engineer. He was a Untied States Navy, Korean War veteran and was a graduate of Newark College of Engineering. Frank had been member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He loved fishing and his family.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of over fifty-two years, Dorothy O’Brien Carroll; brother, Jackie Carroll; and sister, Francie Poorman.
Surviving are two sons, Frank T. Carroll and his wife, Karen of Medford and Daniel Carroll and his wife, Ellen of Lakewood, CO; and two daughters, Maureen Carroll of Harrington Park, and Eileen Carroll of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are his brother, Bobby Carroll; two sisters, Joan King and Mary Domanski; and ten grandchildren, Shannon, William, Elijah, Evangeline, Brielle, Sarah, Margaret, Robert, Cynthia, and Frank.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, January 23 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. (Facial coverings are required and adherence to social distancing will be in effect.)
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to either the Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Saint Jude Children’s Hospital or Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
