


Obituary of Louis J. Ventura, Jr.
Louis J. Ventura, Jr., 60, of Point Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
Born in Newark to the late Louis J. Ventura, Sr. and Elma Lunga Ventura, he lived in South Plainfield until moving to Point Pleasant in 1988.
Lou worked as a relay technician for Jersey Central Power and Light for thirty-one years. He was an avid fisherman and Led Zeppelin fan.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathryn “Katy” Ventura; and his brother, Anthony Ventura.
Surviving are his beloved wife, of nearly thirty-three years, Frances Dahnke-Ventura; and daughter, Abigail Ventura and her fiancée, Bruno Grenci. Also surviving are his sister, Roseann Ventura; nephews, Ryan, Jesse, and Anthony; and nieces, Erika and Kelly.
Visitation will be from 2 – 5 p.m., Sunday, January 31 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. (Facial coverings are required and adherence to social distancing will be in effect.)
