Obituary of Christos Michael

Christos Michael, 59, of Point Pleasant, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Born in Irvington, he lived there until moving to Point Pleasant twelve years ago.

Christos worked as a plumber for his family’s company, T-N-T Plumbing.  He was an avid motorcycle and automotive enthusiast and was a member of New Jersey Motorcycle Cruisers.

He was predeceased by his mother, Penelope Michael.

Christos is survived by his wife, Nancy Jobes Somerville; father, Alexandros Michael; and brother and sister-in-law, Theodore and Cathleen Michael.  Also surviving are his nephews, Steven Michael, Anthony Michael, and their families; adult children, George Somerville and Marissa Chalker; beloved pets, Rubie, Todd, and Gina; and numerous close family and friends in Point Pleasant.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., Friday, March 19 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. (Facial coverings are required and adherence to social distancing will be in effect. Due to attendance limitations, those attending the visitation are kindly asked to greet the family and then exit the building.)

Because of his love for animals, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the ASPCA.
