Obituary of Jean Ann Krause

OUR MOM

She was born Jean Ann Davison in 1934, the eldest of three daughters and was succeeded by Nancy and Margaret (Peggy), She grew up in Montclair.

Our mom married, at 19, Donald William Krause, then proceeded to travel with her new husband around the country, starting off in Illinois, in time to give birth to a baby boy, Donald W. Jr. They proceeded on to California, his next Air Force duty station in the lovely California climate, two more children arrived, Robert A, and Cheri A.

As an adoring wife and loving mom, she picked up and moved several times again always keeping her family first, and giving moral support and balance, because of all the changes we were all experiencing.

With my dad’s job, we moved again to New Hampshire and settled in to real life again. These years produced two more siblings, Randy A, and Lisa G.

With changes through the children’s lives and my dad’s career and illness, she was the pillar and security of the family.  With our final move to the State of New Jersey, a new family member arrived, Lori J.

Her family was finally complete.  Our lives and families were just starting. She worked hard at life, family, and her job.  Our mom is who we gained our spirit and hope from, she never gave up. She never gave up on any one of us, NO MATTER WHAT. She was our anchor, our support group, our spirit. Her smile was endless.  She is forever. Love you.

Visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m., Friday, September 10 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 3 p.m. a service will be held.
