Dear Tricia, Colleen, Kerri and Shayna, please accept our sympathies upon Joey's passing. The Walkers of CT want you to know that you all are in our hearts and minds during this difficult time. Tom in particular has many fond memories of talking with Joey (mostly sports) from the living on Seaview Ave. to the Murtha's living room during Christmas parties. I think we tied for the most Christmas mis-fit pictures. A man of few words, please find peace that we know he loved and adored his wife and girls.

I was very saddened to hear of Mr. Bannon's passing. I was friends with his daughter Kerri and always knew him to be a great dad. I'll never forget him taking us to Great Adventure bc Frankie Valli was playing. He played his songs the whole ride and I remember thinking what good music it was. All these years later whenever I hear it playing I think of Mr. Bannon. My heartfelt condolences are with his family.

Joe was a steady influence in the halls of Colts Neck High School. He served the students and staff with a quiet dignity and positive presence for many years. I enjoyed sitting and chatting with Joe on the bleachers at McKenna Field in Point as our kids played soccer together. We talked about the kids, our school, and life in general. Those were pleasant moments. Joe, you will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
