Obituary of Lillian Barbara Stefano

 

Lillian Barbara Benson Kiel Stefano, 83, formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Dripping Springs, TX.

 

Born in Newark, she lived in Point Pleasant for most of her life before relocating to Texas in 2014. 

 

Barbara worked as a bus driver for the Point Pleasant Borough School system until she retired.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.

 

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Stefano; and her son, Lawrence Benson.

 

Barbara is survived by her son, Joseph E. Benson; daughters-in-law, Lori Benson and Kathleen Benson; her grandsons, Jason Benson and his wife, Megan, Bryan Benson and his wife, Cheryl, Kevin Benson, Joseph L. Benson, and Bradston Benson; and her six great-grandchildren, Austin, Keira, Owen, Liam, Bonnie, and Jackson.

 

Visitation will be from 10 - 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 27 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.  At 11 a.m. a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, followed by entombment at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.

 

Visitation will be from 10 - 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 27 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.  At 11 a.m. a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, followed by entombment at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
