


Obituary of Ralph N. Yersin
Ralph N. Yersin, 93, of Brick, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Born in Montclair to the late Renee and Edith Yersin he lived in Point Pleasant Beach for most of his life before moving to Brick twenty years ago.
Ralph worked in clock manufacturing in his early years and in the US Postal Service until his retirement. He was a United States Navy Korean War veteran; a sixty-five year long, life member and Ex-Chief of Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company #2; life member of the NJ Firemen's Association; and member of the Point Pleasant Elks, Lodge 1698.
He enjoyed bowling, hunting, boating, and was an avid fisherman who enjoyed tying flys for fly-fishing in his later years. And most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his legacy grow.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of over fifty-four years, Doris Yersin.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Yersin and his wife, Betty Lynn of Manasquan and Paul Yersin and his wife, Sophia of Howell; and daughter, Donna Norton and her husband, Robert of Point Pleasant. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah-Ann, Lacey, Courtney, Kelsey, Cody, Raquel, Jake; and four great-grandchildren, Brent, Jillian, Lillian, and Robert.
Visitation will be from 1 – 4 p.m., Saturday, July 23 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 3 p.m. a service will be held.
