


Obituary of Carolyn Dunston
Carolyn Miller Dunston, 89, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022.
One of ten children born in Point Pleasant to late William and Carrie Hulse Miller, she lived there for all of her life and was a graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School.
Carolyn was a proud domestic engineer who enjoyed doing laundry and ironing and was truly devoted to her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over fifty-three years, Robert Dunston; and grandson, Andrew Dunston.
Carolyn is survived by her two sons, Robert A. Dunston and his wife, Emily of Point Pleasant and Dale J. Dunston of FL; and daughter, Cheryl Caprio and her husband, Ed of Point Pleasant. She is also survived by her brother, Bruce Miller and his wife, Sue; sister, Gloria Hughes; grandchildren, Christa, Robert A., Jr. and his wife, Caroline, Amanda and her husband, Travis, and Kristina and her husband, Brian; great-grandchildren, Avelene and Andrew and twins that are on the way.
Visitation will be from 1 – 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 2 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 2 p.m. a service will be held. Interment will follow at White Lawn Cemetery, Point Pleasant.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Carolyn’s memory to the Point Pleasant Borough PBA, Local 158, 2233 Bridge Ave., Point Pleasant, NJ 08742.
