Obituary of Anne Dunkle Bresnahan

 

Anne Fairbanks Dunkle Bresnahan, 92, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. 

 

Born in Point Pleasant to the late Walter and Gertrude Fairbanks, Anne lived there all of her life and was a graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School.

 

Anne was co-owner and operator of Beaver Dam Canine for many years.  She was very active in the community and was a member of the Woman’s Club of Point Pleasant, the Lady Guard, the Junior Bowling League at 88 Lanes, and was a former Girl Scout Leader and Point Pleasant PTO member.

 

She will be missed by many and remembered for her love of family and animals.

 

She was predeceased by her first husband, Harrison C. Dunkle; second husband, Lawrence Bresnahan; and by her son-in-law, John “Jack” Nydam.

 

Anne is survived by two daughters, Jill Nydam of Brick, Deborah Kraft and her husband, William of ME; and son, John Dunkle of Point Pleasant.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jake Kraft, Mickey Foley, and Kelsey Foley; and by many dear friends.

 

 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Sunday, November 13 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, will be held privately.
