When Peggy's home was destroyed by Super Storm Sandy, Joe and I, along with the Kerry and Frank Jones and many other church members tried to help her salvage some of her possessions. Peggy was so grateful and didn't want to trouble anyone. We worked together for days but she always was calm and tried to give us all encouragement. I remember her lovely alto voice from choir, playing the organ when subbing for Sara, and seeing her smiling face in church. She was so kind to Virginia Zimmerman helping her navigate the last days of her life and constantly visiting her. Peggy was certainly an example that Christian women should strive to emulate. She will certainly be missed.
