



Obituary of Roger "Scott" McLachlan
Roger “Scott” McLachlan, 71, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Born in Orange to the late Roger and Gloria McLachlan he lived in Point Pleasant for most his life and was a graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School.
Scott worked as a mechanic for the NJ Forest Fire Service and retired as shop supervisor.
He was an outdoorsman and avid fisherman, hunter, boater, and skier. Mostly he just loved to hang out with his family and his hunting companion dogs.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of forty-one years, Lori Heim McLachlan; and three children, Brandon McLachlan and his wife, Kristine, Jaime Dunning and her husband, Timothy, and Christopher McLachlan. He is also survived by his sisters, Susan Lang and Karen McLachlan; and grandchild, Hunter.
Memorial visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., Thursday, December 22 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.
