


Obituary of Theodore C. Lough, III
Theodore Lough, 85, of Brick, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick.
Ted, as he was known as, was a member of Manasquan Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed singing in its Men’s Choir. He was born in Bayonne and graduated from Manhattan School of Music before serving in the US Army, during the Korean War. After marrying his wife, Mary, he lived in North Plainfield, Wall Township, and Point Pleasant Beach before settling in Brick Township.
He worked for his family’s insurance company, the Lough Insurance and Real Estate Agency, then worked for Briggs Taxi as a driver for twenty years. He treasured his family, including numerous dogs and cats throughout the years. His kind, easygoing nature, and his ability to see the good in absolutely everyone will be missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his father, Theodore, and his mother, Elsie. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, his son, Chris, and his daughter-in-law, Leigh Ann, all of Brick.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
