Obituary of Janet Alice Kennedy

Janet Alice Kennedy, 74, of Point Pleasant, known and loved by everyone as Alice, passed away on Satuday, March 18, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Bergenfield before moving to Point Pleasant.

She was predeceased by her father, Thomas Judge; mother, Alice V. Olsen; stepfather, James K. Olsen; and sister, Ellen LaStella.

Alice is survived by loving husband, Edward J. Kennedy, Sr., with whom she spent all of her time together for over thirty years.  She is also survived by her children, Kelly Wallach and her husband, Michael, David Kennedy and his wife, Allison, Edward Kennedy, Jr. and his wife, Dawn, Brian Olsen and his wife, Jamie, and Robert Kennedy and by her grandchildren, whom she loved very much, Samantha “Sammy” Olsen, Jack Kennedy, Charlotte Kennedy, Finley Olsen, and Travis Morey.

Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., Thursday, March 23 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.  At 11 a.m., Friday, March 24 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, followed by interment at Saint Anne Cemetery, Wall.
