Obituary of Robert Bruce Becker

Robert Bruce Becker, 62, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.  

Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Jules and Corinne Becker, Bob lived in Sussex County before moving to Point Pleasant seven years ago. He worked as a construction supervisor for over thirty years and was currently employed by Mercer General Works, Pennington.   

Bob loved his family and his cherished dogs dearly. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, spending time at the beach, and was a diehard NY Giants fan. 

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia; two daughters, Hannah and Isabelle Becker; and two step-daughters, Valerie Shadle and her husband, Kevin and Patricia Coronel.  He is also survived by his brother, Marc Becker and his wife, Aida; three grandchildren, Joseph, Cora, and Brynn; and his faithful companions, Bailey and Benny.  

A memorial visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m. Thursday, June 8 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.
