Obituary of Margaret Morrow

MARGARET MORROW, 96, a resident of Morris Hall, Lawrenceville, formerly of BRICK, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Jersey City, to the late William A. and Katherine Hunter Morrow, she had lived there and also in Morris Plains. She came to her beloved Brick in 1966 and really enjoyed living in Metedeconk. Ms. Morrow was a graduate of William L. Dickinson High School and Saint Peter's College, both in Jersey City. She also took courses in personal finance a Hunter College, New York. A licensed practical nurse, she worked at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital for many years. She began her career in professional dancing by winning a Carnegie Hall talent contest at the age of 15 which led to her touring the country with various theatrical groups. Additionally, she worked as a high fashion model for a private label clothing company in New York City. She was a devoted communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Bay Head, where she was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society and often led the Rosary after daily Mass. For over fifty years she was a member of the Third Order of Saint Francis. She was predeceased by her sister Kathryn Hayes. Surviving to cherish her memory are her nephews, Morrow Hayes of Annapolis, MD and Thomas Hayes, III of Gainesville, FL; one grand niece; two grand nephews; and many dear friends. Friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., Thursday at THE PABLE - EVERTZ FUENRAL HOME OF POINT PLEASANT, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732-899-3300) At 10 a.m. Friday a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Bay Head. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
