Obituary of Lucille M. Zabriskie

LUCILLE VACCARELLA ZABRISKIE, 71, of Greenbriar II, BRICK, passed away on her forty-seventh wedding anniversary, Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Born in Hackensack, to the late Joseph and Mary Pulzello Vaccarella, she lived there and later in Lodi. For many years she lived in Bay Head Shores and moved to Brick in 2001. Mrs. Zabriskie had worked as a customer service representative for Bart Proud Insurance, Wall. An active communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Bay Head, she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a former member of the Parish bereavement team. She loved Atlantic City, walking, and her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, G. Albert Zabriskie; her brothers, George, Romeo, and Vincent Vaccarella; and by her brother-in-law, John Minella. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Glen Zabriskie of Brick; her brothers and sisters-in-law, John & Lisa Paolella of Bay Head, Carl & Heidi Vaccarella of West Milford, and Ben & Marion Vaccarella of Waretown; her sisters, Fran Minella of Brick and Joyce Vaccarella of Brooklyn, NY; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Friend may visit with the family from 4 - 8 p.m., Sunday at THE PABLE - EVERTZ FUNERAL HOME OF POINT PLEASANT, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732-899-3300). At 11 a.m., Monday a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Bay Head. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Inurnment at the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, will be held privately. As an expression of sympathy, contributions made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 1035 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753, would be appreciated.
