Obituary of Clifford Charles Hoy

CLIFFORD CHARLES HOY, 49, of BRICK, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 5, 2009. Born in Neptune, he was a life long resident of the Point Pleasant area and was a graduate of the Point Pleasant Borough High School. Cliff was a retired police officer from the State of New Jersey, Department of Human Services. He also had worked as an officer at Trenton State Correctional Facility. Currently he owned and operated Tasmanian Lawn Service. Cliff loved the great outdoors; motorcycling, kayaking, wrestling, and camping. He was an active member of Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, Bay Head. He was predeceased by his father, Robert W. Hoy. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia Riley Hoy; his son, Cameron Hoy of Point Pleasant; his mother, Rosemarie Koehler Hoy of Point Pleasant; his brother, Robert W. Hoy, Jr. and his wife Shawn of Point Pleasant; and many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service to commemorate his life at 1 p.m., Saturday at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, 423 West Lake Avenue (at Bridge Avenue), Bay Head. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to Saint Paul's Church, PO Box 105, Bay Head, NJ 08742, are suggested. A private cremation was arranged by THE PABLE - EVERTZ FUNERAL HOME OF POINT PLEASANT.
