Obituary of Jo Anne Eckert

JO ANNE KINGHORN ECKERT, 60, of POINT PLEASANT, departed February 15, 2009 after a battle with Leukemia at Hackensack University Medical Center. Jo was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sibling and friend of anyone who ever met her. Jo shared her special form of love, unselfish behavior and positive attitude as an Administrative Assistant at Nellie F. Bennett Elementary School. She was a dedicated coworker, nurturing role model to students and always was known to provide the extra "Jo touch." The support and well wishes Jo received from her community were a source of great comfort to her and her family. This support reflected how anyone who knew her appreciated and admired her. Born in Rutherford, to the late Edward & Ruth Boyle Kinghorn Andrews, Jo moved to Point Pleasant in 1962.
