Obituary of Ida Kus

IDA MUSTICA KUS, 86, of POINT PLEASANT, passed away, Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Meridian Nursing Center, Brick. Born in Newark, to the late John and Julia Otranto Mustica, she moved to Point Pleasant forty years ago. Ida was a retired bookkeeper and had worked for Storer Cable, Point Pleasant. She was a communicant of the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, where she was a member of the Beehive. She was predeceased by her husband, Bruno J. Kus, exactly thirteen months ago; by her daughter, Grace Ciccone, also in 2008; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank & Gloria Mustica; and by her sister, Emily Mustica. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter Josephine Vitiello and her husband Fred of Point Pleasant; five grandchildren, Michael Vitiello and his wife Kimberly, Aaron Vitiello and his wife Marcie, Dr. Mary Lou Hiller, Cathy Millet and her husband Joe, and Cindy Ciccone; and seven great-grandchildren, Jessica Rose, Cassandra, Starlee, Bryce, Evan, Haley, and Harley. Friends may visit from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Monday at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732.899.3300) At 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, followed by interment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
