Obituary of Joseph A. Sangine

JOSEPH A. SANGINE, 59, of POINT PLEASANT, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 13, 2009 at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Newark, to the late Joseph and Lillian Pender Sangine, Joe was a life-long Point Pleasant resident and graduate of the Point Pleasant Borough High School. He was a United States Army, Vietnam War veteran and Life Member of V.F.W. Post No. 4715, Point Pleasant Beach. Joe was an antique dealer and worked for Shore Antiques, Allenhurst. Surviving are his son, Joseph Sangine and his wife Jamie of West Chester, PA; his sister, Joyce Meshinsky and her husband Edward of Pacifica, CA; his brother, Robert Sangine and his wife Anne of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Joseph, Trey, Chase, and Gianna; and his close friend, Sheryn Hendrickson. He is also survived by a broad extended family and friends including his former wife, Denise Decillis. Friends may visit from 4 p.m. - 6 pm., Friday, at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 5:30 p.m. a service will be held. On Thursday at 11:30 a.m. inurnment will take place at the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Provinceline Road, Arneytown. As an expression of sympathy, contributions made in his memory to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 ( www.deborah.org ), are suggested.
