Obituary of William K. Duggan

WILLIAM R. DUGGAN, 69, of BRICK, passed away, Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Philadelphia, to the late Albert and Eleanor Sharpe Duggan, he lived in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, he resided in Point Pleasant for fifty years before moving to Brick four years ago. A retired plumber, Bill was owner and operator of Pineland Plumbing in Brick. His beloved wife, Mary predeceased him in 2004. Surviving to cherish his memory are four sons, William Duggan and his wife Terry of Conyers, GA, John A. Duggan of Portsmouth, VA, Patrick J. Duggan and his wife Suzette of Allenwood, and Dennis R. Duggan and his wife Jodie of Brick; a daughter, Leanne Maldony of Brick; a brother, Albert Duggan and his wife Marge of Vineland; and nine grandchildren, Shaunna, Ryan, Craig, Kristi, Jeremy, Damian, Lilionna, Mary, and Delano. Friends may visit from 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732.899.3300), where at 7:30 p.m. a service will be held. Cremation will be held privately. As an expression of sympathy, donations made in his memory to the Jersey Shore Animal Center, 185 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723, are suggested.
