Obituary of Charles Peter GimBert
CHARLES PETER GIMBERT, 67, of KEANSBURG, passed away, Thursday, May 7, 2009 at home.
Born in Jersey City, to the late Walter Decker GimBert, Jr. and Norma Carlson GimBert, he lived there until moving to Keansburg in 2003.
Mr. GimBert worked as a mechanic and also as an electrician for the City of Jersey City.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Predeceased by his brothers, Robert D. and Donald GimBert and by his sister, Jean Quintero, surviving are his companion of twenty-one years, Myrna Rubino; four brothers, Walter Decker GimBert, III, Norman C. GimBert, Ronald GimBert, and George GimBert and their families; four sisters, Nancy GimBert, Linda Corbett, Norma Maier, and Louise GimBert, and their families.
Services and cremation will be held privately. As an expression of sympathy, donations made in his memory to either Saint Jude Children's Hospital www.stjude.org ; the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org ; or to the Disabled American Veterans www.dav.org are suggested.
