Obituary of Anthony Peter Ciambrone

ANTHONY PETER CIAMBRONE, 85, of POINT PLEASANT, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 at his daughter's home in Colts Neck. Born in Long Branch, to the late Gregory and Ella (Giambrone) Ciambrone, he was raised there and had lived in Jersey City. He has resided in Point Pleasant for twenty-one years. Mr. Ciambrone was a World War II, United States Marine Corps veteran and was discharged as a Corporal. He worked as a route salesman for Schickhaus Meats and later worked for Matheson Gas, East Rutherford. His beloved wife Anna Catherine Baratta Ciambrone predeceased him in 1994. Surviving are his son, Anthony P. Ciambrone, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Wayne; his daughter, Ellen Coletti and her husband Vincent of Colts Neck; and two grandchildren, Jillian Ciambrone and Vincent Coletti. Friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732.899.3300) At 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
