Obituary of Patricia Ann Bragen

PATRICIA ANN BRAGEN, of TOMS RIVER, left this world, Friday, May 22, 2009 after a short but courageous battle with melanoma. Her husband and parents were at her side. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Harrogate Life Care Center, Lakewood, for the past several years, having earned her degrees at Ocean County College, Brookdale Community College, and Ocean County Vocational Tech. Pat was a caring, fun-loving, and affectionate all her life, first as a daughter and later as an older sister, wife, mother, and nurse. Anyone who knew her has a story to tell of some "fun adventure" they shared. She deeply loved her family, friends, her pets, her job, and will be missed by all of us. She is survived by her loving husband of fourteen years, Robert Bragen; a daughter, Patricia, and a son, Bobby, all of Toms River; her parents, John and Marcella Inderwies of Brick; a sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Sal Bongiorno of Brick; a brother and sister-in-law, Ross and June Inderwies of Jackson, eighteen nieces and nephews; and many long-lasting friendships. Friends may visit from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732.899.3300) At 11 a.m., Wednesday, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant. Cremation will be held privately.
