Obituary of Madeline G. Turago

MADELINE SADOWSKI TURAGO, 96, of TOMS RIVER, passed away, Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the Virtua West Jersey Hospital, Marlton. Born in Newark, to the late Stanley and Frances Sadowski, she was formerly of Maplewood, and has resided in Toms River since 1987. A homemaker, Mrs. Turago loved her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Barney and by her sisters, Helene Zach and Veronica Sliwinski. Surviving are her son, Bernard Turago of Toms River; two brothers, Stanley and Ernie Sadowski; two granddaughters, Suzie Lingenfelter and Bobbie Turago; six great-grandchildren, Victoria, Alex, Kylie, Delanie, Dominick, and Damian; and her daughter-in-law, Eva Turago of Point Pleasant. Friends may visit from 2 - 5 p.m., Sunday at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Monday a service will be held at the funeral home, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
