Obituary of Kathryn Frances Ventura

Kathryn "Katy" Frances Ventura, 14, of Point Pleasant, passed away on the morning of Monday, August 10, 2009. Born August 16, 1994, Katy was a lifelong resident of Point Pleasant. She attended Point Pleasant Borough High School, entering her sophomore year in the fall. She was a cheerleader and was accepted to the varsity team this summer. Katy had a heart of gold and loved shopping, music, and hanging out with her many friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Louis J., Sr. and Elma Ventura. Surviving to cherish her memory are her parents, Louis J. Ventura, Jr. and Frances Dahnke-Ventura of Point Pleasant; her sister, Abigail Frances Ventura; and her maternal grandparents, Rudolph and Frances Dahnke. Friends may visit with the family from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10:30 a.m., Friday services will be held at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, 714 Herbertsville Road, Brick, followed by interment at White Lawn Cemetery, Point Pleasant.
