Robin, Valerie and children, I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Mary for many years at St. Paul's where she was a very hard worker in many areas. I knew her best from choir. She was a woman to be admired as a wife, mother and grandmother! You can all be so proud of her! Please accept my sincere condolences to all of you for your personal loss!
Robin, I will write you a personal note!

I was a student at Fairview and was in Mr. Urban's 6th grade class at the time that President Kennedy was assasinated. Most of us in the class were distraught, crying and upset beyond words. Mr. Urban was there to calm us and give us the support we needed as 12 year olds. I'll never forget that. I also remember Mrs. Urban coming into the classroom on numerous occasions throughout the year and also going on school trips. I remember her assisting on our class play, "The Kings Cream Puffs". She helped all of us who were in the play including myself. My mother was the class mom and always spoke highly of both your mom and dad. I have kept in touch with most of the students from that class of 28 kids, and what you don't know is that 11 of those kids became teachers. I think your dad and mom had alot to do with that. My good friend from that class, Gay Gerber was a teacher at Fairview for her entire teaching career until her passing in 2005. If more kids had teachers like your mom and dad our world would be a much better place to live in. God bless your family at this time of year. Bob Caruso,Fairview class of 1964.

My heart felt condolences to all of Mary's family. Ida Beth, I best remember you as I was one year behind you through Little Falls No. One and PVHS. I worked at Dusty's all through high school, with Charlie Wagner, Bill Schmitter, Natale Giancola, Felix Del Veechio, just to name a few that might bring back a memory.

Mary was a great person with such character and strength .She never had an unkind
word to say about anybody or anything. She had great faith and would give you
anything she had if it would help you. She will be missed, and always loved by
family and stranger alike.
