Obituary of Deborah L. Jakup

Deborah L. Noorman Jakup, 45, of Lindenhurst, NY, formerly of Brick, passed away, Thursday, March 24, 2016. Raised in Brick, she moved to New York at the age of 19 and finally to Lindenhurst. Debbie worked as a claims warranty supervisor for Toyota for the past twenty years. She was an avid NASCAR and race car fan and served on a Pit Crew. She loved her two cats, "Tigger" and "Pooh" and the beach. She was predeceased by her mother, Linda George. Surviving are her sister, Carolyn Noorman of Brick; brother, William Noorman and his wife Lori of Howell; father, Donald Noorman of Spring Lake Heights; and maternal grandmother, Joan Kaba of Spotswood. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Andrew, Heather, Billy, Jamie, Paul, and Victoria; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, especially Dorothy and her husband Tom. A memorial visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 – 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 30 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 8 p.m. a service will be held.
