I am sorry for the loss of your dear Dean. We struggle with the question of why something like this happens, why people even have to die at all. God hates when things like this happen. He has a purpose that includes "death being no more" -Rev. 21:3, 4, as well as promising to “undo” death with the resurrection of our loved ones – John 5:28, 29. Currently the world is "lying in the power of the wicked one", but not for much longer. This hope has helped me get through some tough times and I hope it helps you now. When some time has passed, feel free to visit www.jw.org for more comfort. Again, I am sorry for your loss. MN

A few words of comfort to ponder in the midst of such grief: With my Deepest Sympathy, Your sister and aunt Lorraine
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free. Miss me a little but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, miss me - but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take and each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me - but let me go.

My deepest sympathies to Grace, Frank & June, Bianca, Damon, and Mickey as well as all of Dean's nephews and nieces that he loved so dearly. I have known Dean literally my whole life and will always remember how incredibly kind he was. As a little kid I always new I would have fun when I was around him. He was the type of person you were just drawn to because he was so sincerely nice and always made us laugh! I am glad my daughter had the chance to know him and had recently visited him with my mom. May he rest in peace.
