Obituary of Amelia Lucchetti Bonham

Amelia Lucchetti Bonham, 91, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, March 26, 2017. Born in Easton, PA to the late Anthony and Anna (DeMartino) Lucchetti, she lived there in Brick before moving to Point Pleasant in 1971. She attended Millersville University and graduated from East Stroudsburg State College. She was a retired teacher and for thirty-three years taught at Herbertsville Elementary School, Brick. She enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble, and going to the beach. For eleven years, she was a devoted caregiver to her mother. Surviving are her son, Stephen Bonham and his wife Carol of Brick; and daughter, Anne Amodio and her husband Michael of Point Pleasant Beach. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Aimee, Michael, Stephen Jr., and Ian. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 a.m., Thursday, March 30 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 11 a.m. a service will be held. Entombment will follow at Saint Anne Cemetery, Wall.
