John Randolph Bennette

John Randolph Bennette, a native of Point Pleasant, born June 6, 1945, and beloved husband to Judith Bennette, passed away peacefully at his home he so proudly built, on Monday, September 4, 2023. He was a devoted father to his children John, Nicky, Jessica, James, as well as their wives and families. John took immense pride in being a loving husband, father, grand dad and most recently a great-grandad.

John lived his life guided by blue-collar values, embodying the principles of hard work, kindness, and unwavering honesty. His commitment and dedication to his family and community were evident in every aspect of his life. He was not just a provider but a pillar of strength and support for not only his loved ones, but anyone who needed it.

John was always generous with his time, always lending a helping hand. His talent was unmeasurable. John could build it, break it, invent it, fix it, or find a solution for it. He had the knowledge of many lifetimes. John also applied this to every connection with every person he ever met. There is a sign on his workshop “Pop’s repairs and advice.”  When John spoke, you not only were eager to listen, but made sure you paid attention.

John’s legacy will continue to live on through the values he instilled in his family and the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his deep love for his family and his perseverance and the just get it done way of living.

Memorial visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m., Sunday, September 10 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.

John Randolph Bennette will be forever missed but never forgotten. His memory will remain in our hearts. Miss him a little, but not too long and not with your head bowed low. Know that I left the world on my terms, which was the only way that I lived my life while I was on this earth.
