Obituary of Patricia Lily Attanasio

Patricia Lily Attanasio, 84, of Point Pleasant, peacefully entered into eternal rest on, Monday, December 3, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Harrison, she was formerly of Scotch Plains, and has lived in Point Pleasant for forty years. Patricia had worked as a secretary for Prudential Insurance, Newark. She liked trips to Atlantic City, the New York Yankees, crossword puzzles, and was a communicant of Saint Peter Parish, Point Pleasant Beach. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter J. Attanasio, Sr.; her son, Peter J., Jr.; her daughter, Rose; three brothers, Robert, James, & Arthur Tray; and her loving sister, Virginia Greenley. Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Fort of Point Pleasant; her granddaughter, Kristine Sciarappa and her husband Vincent; and two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Dylan. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-law, Marian Volz, Lola Attanasio, Anna & William Boub, Carmen & Marion Attanasio, and Patrick Attanasio; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 - 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 7, at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach, followed by interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
