Obituary of Carol Apen Zima

Carol Apen Zima, 70, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Ocean Medical Center. Born in Newark, to the late Michael & Eleanor Apen, she lived there and later in Edison, residing in Point Pleasant for twenty years. For thirty-two years, Mrs. Zima worked for First Fidelity Bank, Newark, and retired as branch manager. She was a member of the Women's Republican Club of Mantoloking-Bay Head. Surviving are her beloved husband, of thirty years, Thomas Zima; his children; and grandchildren, Briana, Erik, & Michael Zima, Noah & Nicolas Magel, and Lance & Logan Zima. Visitation will be from 2 - 6 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 5:30 p.m. a service will be held. Cremation will be held privately.
