Obituary of Edith Jenkins

Edith Jenkins, nee Edmond, 93, passed away on January 9, 2013, in Brick, NJ. Born in Cardiff, Wales, she married Cyril Jenkins in 1942. They emigrated, with their two children, to the United States in 1958, settling first in Carlstadt, N.J., where Cyril was minister at his first church in the United States. In 1964 they moved to New York City until their retirement in 1982. Edith worked in the medical field for many years when she wasn't being the "minister's wife". They moved to the Point Pleasant-Brick area in 1990. Edith was a member of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church, the Point Pleasant Women's Club, and various book clubs. She was very involved in community activities. She is survived by her children, Margaret Williamson and Keith Jenkins, and by three grandsons and three great-grandsons.
