Obituary of LaVerne E. Ford

LaVerne E. Greenley Ford, 84, of Laurelton, Brick Twp., passed away, Friday, January 18, 2013 at her son's home in Millville. Born in Long Branch, to the late George & Edna Greenley, she has lived in Brick since 1980 and was formerly of Harrison, Point Pleasant, and Tuckerton. Mrs. Ford was a member of the First Baptist Church of Laurelton, enjoyed to go shopping, drinking tea, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward "Bob" Ford; brother, Thomas Greenley, and sister, Edna Kise. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Joan Ford of Millville; one step-daughter, Evelyn Kise; two step-sons, Glenn and Neal Ford; and one sister, Doris Mould. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Melinda, Heather, Robert, Aimee, William, and Kelly; nine great-grandchildren, Anthony, Destiny, John, Joey, Joshua, Tyler, Ryan, Brittany, and Becky; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23 a service will be held, at the funeral home, and will be followed by interment at Laurelton Baptist Cemetery.
