Obituary of Madeline E Kocot
Madeline Elizabeth Kozmor Kocot, 95, of Point Pleasant, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Jersey City, where she lived for many years, she also resided in Ridgewood and for over twenty years in Manasquan, moving to Point Pleasant eight years ago.
She was a retired junior officer for Hudson City Savings Bank.
Mrs. Kocot was an avid gardener, skilled seamstress, loyal NY Yankees fan, and collector of recipes.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Theodore S. Kocot, three brothers, Edward, John, and Vincent Kozmor; and sister, Mary Burns.
Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth Mary Terranova and her husband Joseph of Point Pleasant; two grandchildren, Theodore Anthony Terranova and his wife Kym and Lauren Elizabeth Romano and her husband Adam; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Joseph, Jacob, and Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
At 9 a.m., Saturday, April 13 a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Dominic Church, Brick, and will be followed by inurnment at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
As an expression of sympathy, donations made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org would be appreciated.
