Obituary of Mary Sutherland Ohr

Mary Sutherland Ohr, 89, of Bay Head passed away, Friday, April 19, 2013 at her son's home in Barnegat. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was a life-long resident of Madison until moving to Bay Head in 2008. She was a 1945 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Mrs. Ohr enjoyed the beach, gardening, and was a life-long member of Madison United Methodist Church. Her beloved husband, Richard A. Ohr, predeceased her in 2011. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she leaves behind, two sons, Robert S. Ohr and his wife Kim and their daughters, Lauren, Megan, and Kendall of Greenville, PA and Richard T. Ohr and his wife Karina and their sons, Andy and Daniel of Barnegat. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., Sunday, April 21 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 2:30 p.m. a service will be held. Interment will take place Monday at the B/G Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
