Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Kehoe

Elizabeth "Betty" Kehoe, 91, of South Burlington, VT, formerly of Bay Head, passed away, Friday, April 26, 2013. Born in Newark, to the late John and Anna Adams Kehoe, she had lived in Irvington, summering in Bay Head since 1958, moving there permanently in 1982 and residing in South Burlington since October, 2012. Betty retired from Peat Marwick, where she worked in the accounting division for many years. A member of the Women's Republican Club of Mantoloking and Bay Head, Betty was also a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Bay Head, and member of the parish Rosary Altar Society. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Mary Kehoe. Surviving are her sister, Marie Machavern of South Burlington, VT; two nephews, David Machavern and his wife Patrice of Charlotte, VT and Paul Machavern and his wife Lynn of Shelburne, VT; her great-nephews and niece, Ryan, Dillon, Christopher, Jesse, and Kate; and many dear friends. At 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 30 a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Bay Head, followed by interment at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt. There will be no calling hours and those attending may meet directly at the church. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of The Arbors, Shelburne, VT and Allenwood, South Burlington, VT for all their love and support.
