Obituary of Juan Martin Sanchez

Juan Martin Sanchez, 28, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 surrounded by his family. Born in Medellin, Colombia, he has lived in Point Pleasant since 1991 and was a graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School and Ocean County College. Juan was self-employed and also worked as a waiter at Surf Taco, Point Pleasant Beach. He liked drawing, going to the beach, and hanging out with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Martin Sanchez. Surviving are his wife, Katie Morgan Sanchez; his mother, Gilma Sanchez, and two sisters, Ana Maria Sanchez and Veronica Sanchez, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are his mother and father-in-law, Cress and Edward Morgan; his brother-in-law, Brian Morgan; and many cousins, other family members, and dear friends. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, June 4 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 5 a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach. Cremation will be held privately.
