Obituary of Charlotte G. Bergmann

Charlotte G. Bergmann, 81, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Born in Hackensack to the late John Leo and Charlotte Mann, she lived in Old Tappan and then in Point Pleasant for 44 years. She was a graduate of Dumont High School, Ocean County College School of Nursing, Stockton State College and Farleigh-Dickinson University. Charlotte worked as a dedicated registered nurse and was employed by Meridian Health at Point Pleasant Hospital and Ocean Medical Center in Brick, retiring as Associate Director of Nursing in 1994. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Kenneth A. Bergmann, Sr.; three daughters, Elizabeth and her husband Thomas Mahon of Point Pleasant, Jennifer and her husband Frank Ruzicka of Easton, PA, and Kathleen and her husband William Luell III of Friendswood, TX; her son, Kenneth A. Bergmann, Jr. of Toms River; and three grandchildren, Sara, Melissa and William Luell IV. In accordance with her wishes, services and cremation will be held privately under the direction of the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant.
