Obituary of Robert E. Suckey

Robert E. Suckey, Sr., 72, of Brick, passed away, Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Born in Newark, to the late Joseph E. Suckey, Sr. and Kathleen O'Keefe Suckey, he lived in Belleville and has resided in Brick since 1956. Mr. Suckey was a retired steamfitter from Steamfitters Local No. 475, Newark. He enjoyed horse racing. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph E. Suckey, Jr. He is survived by two children, Karen and Rob and their families and also surviving are his fiance and best friend, Margie Evon; two brothers, John Suckey and his wife Mary of Wall and Edward Suckey of Brick; two sisters, Kathleen Berrios and her husband Jaime of FL and Maureen Spearer and her husband John of Brick and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. At his request there will be no services and a private inurnment will take place at Saint Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
