Obituary of Mary G. Ward

Mary G. Ward, 84, of Ocean Grove, formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away, Friday, August 2, 2013 at Francis Asbury Manor, Ocean Grove. Born in Scotland, to the late James and Edith (Williams) Ward, she had lived in North Arlington and resided in Point Pleasant for thirty years before moving to Ocean Grove. Ms. Ward worked as registered nurse and retired from Prudential Life Insurance Company, Newark. She was a member of the Prudential Retirees Association; the Saint Joseph Alumni Association; and was a communicant of the Church of the Sacred Heart, Bay Head, where she was a member of the parish Rosary Altar Society. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Ward. Surviving are her brother, James Ward and his wife Patricia of Neptune City; her sister, Josephine Kosenski of Lavallette; and several nieces, nephews, and their families.
