Obituary of Elizabeth M. Connolly

Elizabeth Connolly, 92, of Point Pleasant Beach, formerly of Fort Lee, has passed away at her home on Saturday August 17th 2013, surrounded by loved ones. Elizabeth, better known as "Aunt Betty" was a very loving, elegant and caring woman who treated all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her children. Survived by her niece Denise Italiano Jurasek and her family: husband Jay, children Matthew Jurasek and Danielle Wolowitz and her husband Chris, and great-great nephews Ethan and Aidan Wolowitz, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Connolly, her brother Joseph Girardi, and sisters Angie Italiano and Josephine Saputo. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 p.m., Monday, August 19 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 20, a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach, followed by interment at Geo. Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
