Obituary of Virginia "Ginger" Ruth Stevenson

Virginia "Ginger" Ruth Stevenson, 42, a lifelong Point Pleasant resident, passed away, Thursday, September 5, 2013. Ginger was a graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School, Ocean County College, and Brookdale College. She worked as a respiratory therapist in the Ocean/Monmouth area for several years. An avid sports fan and music enthusiast, Ginger enjoyed playing guitar, rugby, and softball and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Surviving are her loving parents, William F. and Robin Stevenson; her sister, Bonnie DeCicco and her husband Richard; and her brother, William F. "Butch" Stevenson, Jr. and his wife Kathryn, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are five nieces and nephews, Kyle, Corinne, Carly, William, and Michaela; and many dear friends. Visitation will be from 2 - 6 p.m., Sunday, September 8, at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 5 p.m. a service will be held.
