Obituary of Phineas B. Marr

Phineas B. Marr, Jr., 74, a lifelong Point Pleasant resident, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 11, 2013. He was born in Point Pleasant, to the late Phineas B. Marr, Sr. & Beatrice Golba Marr and graduated from the Point Pleasant Beach High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Surviving are his wife, of fifty three years, Shirley A. Patterson Marr; son, Rev. Phineas B. Marr, III and his wife Loralei of WI; brother, Richard James Marr; sister, Beki Cochran; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation will be held privately in accordance with his wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to Saint Gregory's Pantry, 804 Bay Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 would be appreciated.
