Obituary of Mary B. Wood

Mary B. Wood, 84, of Bayville, passed away, Thursday, October 31, 2013. Born in Newark, to the late Herbert and Julia Page, and formerly of East Brunswick, Point Pleasant, and Manchester, she has lived in Bayville for over two years. Mrs. Wood worked as a school bus driver for Hartnett Transit, Lakewood, and Briggs Transportation, Point Pleasant Beach, and as a crossing guard for East Brunswick Township and Point Pleasant Borough. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George and son, Kevin. Surviving are two sons, Edward Wood and his wife Roxanne and Robert Wood and his wife Jodie, all of Brick; her brother, James Page; seven grandchildren, Jackie, Jessica, Bobby, Ryan, Katie, Kevin, and Chris; and three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Joseph, and Katelyn. Visitation will be from 2 - 6 p.m., Sunday, November 3 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m., Monday, November 4 a Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, followed by interment at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
