Obituary of Elizabeth P. Russell

Elizabeth P. Russell (nee Frawley), 91, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away, Thursday, October 31, 2013. Formerly of East Orange, she has lived in Point Pleasant Beach for forty-five years. Mrs. Russell was a graduate of Saint Vincent Academy and Drake Business College, both of Newark and was retired from the City of East Orange, where she worked as the secretary to the comptroller. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary (Duffy) Frawley and by her beloved husband, of sixty years, Edward T. Russell. Surviving are her two sons, Neil Russell and his wife Diana of Point Pleasant Beach and Michael Russell of FL; two daughters, Kathleen Flood and her husband Thomas of FL and Mary Jane Hilbert and her husband Charles of Warren. Also surviving are her sister, Eleanor Vermeire; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, a Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach, followed by interment at the BGWCD Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
