Obituary of Henry J. Krohn

Henry J. Krohn, 73, of Point Pleasant passed away, Tuesday, November 12, 2013. He was born in Elizabeth, grew up in Roselle, and lived in Clark until 1987 when he moved to Point Pleasant. Henry served in the US Coast Guard from 1957-1961. He was a retired business manager of Plumbers Local No. 24 and was a member of the Local and United Association for the past fifty-two years. He served on many boards and committees such as NJ State Pipe Trades, UA Plumbing Code, Union County Medical Society Judicial Committee, and the Clark Planning Board. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Gertrude Krohn; brother, Charles Krohn, Jr.; and nephew, Robert Krohn. He is survived by his wife, of fifty-one years, Veronica Mary Krohn; daughters, Tammy Naples and son-in-law, Anthony Naples of Branchburg and Lynn Krohn of Saint Charles, MO and grandsons, Michael Naples & Daniel Naples. Also surviving are his sister-in-law, Theresa Krohn of Myrtle Beach, SC, sister and brother-in-law, Peggy & Hank Rasinski, sister and brother-in-law, Carol & Charles Simonson; many nieces and nephews, a special nephew, Robert Rasinski, and Henry's special cousins, Ronnie & Shelly Kinal. Visitation will be from 1 - 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 4 p.m. a service will be held. Cremation will be private.
