William Thomson, III

Obituary of William Robert Thomson, III

William Robert Thomson, III, 28, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away, Thursday, November 21, 2013. He was a devoted son, father, and fiance who loved his family with all of his heart. Billy loved his brothers, Luke and Ryan and being their big brother will be sorely missed. Billy remained the most loyal friend to his grammar school buddies and was always willing to lend a hand. Billy had a heart of gold and was kind to all. He was fun-loving and always had time to spend with his Uncle Tom and Grandma just for an afternoon of laughs. As the first born, Billy did not only share his name with his father, but enjoyed spending time with him. Of course everyone knew "Billy Thomson" was the apple of his mother's eye and they had a very special relationship. The number one joy of his life was his two year old son, Billy. Bill and his buddies had plans to coach his son's sports teams and enjoy every moment of his life. Ashley Jeffries was supposed to be his life partner. He loved her dearly and they enjoyed each other so much while raising their son together. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Phillip Conaty and his aunt, Debbie Conaty. Billy is survived by his loving parents, William and Phyllis Thomson; his fiance, Ashley Jeffries; and his son, William Robert Thomson, IV. He is also survived by his brothers, Lucas Thomson and Ryan Thomson; his maternal grandmother, Lois Conaty; his paternal grandparents, William and Priscilla Thomson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be from 3 - 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26 a Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Forman & Saint Louis Aves., Point Pleasant Beach. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in his memory to an educational trust fund for William Robert Thomson, IV. Envelopes will be available at the visitation.
